Traditional tutoring is expensive and not always available when people need it. We are here to change that. We are building a service comparable to a live tutor, but available around the clock and at a much lower cost.

For us, success means that everyone enjoys learning, feels free to choose how they study, and has equal access to high-quality educational technology.

Artificial intelligence, and large language models (LLMs) in particular, have taken education to an unprecedented level. These models are trained on vast amounts of knowledge. In simplified form, they work by estimating probabilities and asking: “Based on my training data, which word in my vocabulary is most likely to come next in my answer?”

As training methods improve, models become increasingly skilled at step-by-step reasoning. By nature they are conversational and can adapt to an individual pace, abilities, and even emotions while working through complex problems. It is no surprise that the world around them is changing.

Any powerful tool can lead to mixed outcomes. Education is facing a crisis because AI has become so good at providing answers that it is often used to cheat. Despite the best learning tool yet, some people are absorbing less knowledge than ever.
